Oki C Series
The Oki C Series is Okidata's color line, and its shelf works the way color printing does: not one cartridge but four, one for each color, every color with its own code. This page gathers 463 listings across 75 codes, from the black 44318604 to color families like the 46490601, 46490602 and 46490603 set of yellow, magenta and cyan. When a C Series printer runs low, it is almost always one color talking, and that color's code is the only one you need.
The spread of codes is wide because the line is wide — 153 model pages sit under this series, from compact color printers like the C530 to the big C9000-class machines. Each model family settled on its own four-code set, so a cartridge that fits one C Series printer may fit no other. The good news hidden in that variety: several of these four-code families are shared with the MC Series multifunction line, so a code you know from an MC machine may be waiting for you on this shelf too.

Which cartridge should you buy?
Read the code off the cartridge that is coming out, or open your model page — the C610, the C711 and the C530DN pages each pin down the exact four codes for that machine. Buy the single color you are short of; there is no need to change all four at once, and the printer will keep printing with the other three while one is replaced. Four-color sets earn their shelf space when a printer is new to you, when several colors are low together, or when you want a full spare set on hand — otherwise the single is the honest buy.
Chip, toner and everyday use
Every color cartridge carries its own chip, and the printer tracks the four levels separately — a "low cyan" warning says nothing about your black. When you swap a color, leave the other cartridges in place, keep the new cartridge's seal on until the moment it goes in, and print a few color pages so the machine can settle the new cartridge in. These compatible cartridges carry a one-year warranty and one-year returns, and a cartridge that streaks one color only is pointing at that color's cartridge, not at the whole set.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I have to replace all four colors at the same time?
No. Each color is a separate cartridge with its own code and its own level. Replace the color the printer reports as empty and leave the others until their turn comes.
How do I know which code my C Series printer takes?
The code is printed on the cartridge inside the machine, and your model page lists the full four-code set for your printer. Match both the code and the color — the same number family covers all four colors, and each color has its own number.
Are C Series cartridges shared with the MC Series?
Some are. Families such as 43865720 and its color partners, and the 44318601 family, are sold on both shelves because the same codes serve printers in both lines. As always, the code is the deciding fact; check it against your model page.
What is the difference between the standard and high-yield versions?
Same printer, same fit, longer run. Several C Series families offer a high-yield version of a color (the cartridge name says so plainly). On a busy color printer the high-yield cartridges mean fewer interruptions; on a light-use machine the standard size is usually enough.
