I have the base C8800 — can I add duplex printing later?
Duplex capability depends on the hardware configuration; the factory “d” variants like the C8800dtn include the duplexer. On the base C8800 you can still print two-sided manually by re-feeding pages, which uses the same 43487733–43487736 toner either way.
What is the most common cause of poor color quality on the C8800?
Dirty LED printheads. Before buying replacement 43487734–43487736 cartridges, wipe each LED array gently with a soft dry cloth — dust buildup dulls color output gradually and is often mistaken for low toner. If cleaning does not help, then check actual cartridge levels.
