Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner does the OKI C5500MFP use?
The C5500MFP uses black 43381901, cyan 43381902, magenta 43381903, and yellow 43381904. It adds copying, scanning, and faxing to the C5500 color engine.
Do I need different toner for the C5500MFP than the C5500N?
No. The C5500MFP, C5500N, C5500Ldn, and C5900 all share the 43381901-series cartridges. One spare set supports the whole C5500 family in a mixed office.
Copies on the C5500MFP look darker than prints. Can I adjust that?
Yes. Copy density is a separate setting from print density on the control panel. Lower the copy density a notch and the copies will match your prints without changing toner consumption on computer print jobs.
