Frequently Asked Questions

Which cartridges does the OKI C5500Ldn take?

The C5500Ldn uses black 43381901, cyan 43381902, magenta 43381903, and yellow 43381904. The Ldn configuration adds a lower paper tray, duplex unit, and networking to the C5500 base.

What does the L in C5500Ldn stand for?

It denotes the second paper tray configuration bundled with the printer. With two trays you can keep letter in one and legal or letterhead in the other, and the printer pulls from the right tray automatically.

How do I reduce color toner waste on the C5500Ldn?

Set the driver to print black-and-white by default so the 43381902, 43381903, and 43381904 color cartridges only engage for pages that truly need color. Many offices cut color toner use dramatically with that one setting.
