Frequently Asked Questions
Which cartridges fit the C5250?
Your C5250 takes the OKI 42804501 (black), 42804502 (cyan), 42804503 (magenta) and 42804504 (yellow) toner cartridges. Since each color loads separately, you only ever replace the one that is empty.
Any tips for cheaper color printing on the C5250?
Use draft or toner-save mode for internal documents and reserve full color for final copies — the C5250's four cartridges (42804501, 42804502, 42804503 and 42804504) are each replaced separately, so stretching one color stretches your money.
Do I have to replace all four cartridges in the C5250 at the same time?
No. The C5250 tracks black, cyan, magenta and yellow separately, so a single empty cartridge never forces you to throw away the other three.
