Frequently Asked Questions
What toner set does the Oki C5400DN require?
The C5400DN uses black 42804501, cyan 42804502, magenta 42804503, and yellow 42804504, the same family as the C5400 and C5400DTN. Duplex and network features do not affect cartridge choice.
My C5400DN duplex prints curl. Is that a toner issue?
No. Curling is a paper and fuser-heat issue, so try a different paper stock and the correct media setting. Toner defects show as faded or streaked output, not curl.
How do I keep the C5400DN's color cartridges from drying out?
Toner is a dry powder, so it does not dry out like ink. Cartridges last fine between uses. Just keep spares sealed until needed.
