Frequently Asked Questions
Which cartridges fit the C711n?
Your C711n takes the OKI 44318601 (black), 44318602 (cyan), 44318603 (magenta) and 44318604 (yellow) toner cartridges. Since each color loads separately, you only ever replace the one that is empty.
Do I need color toner installed to print monochrome on the C711n?
Yes — select black-and-white in the driver and the C711n prints using just the black (44318601) cartridge, sparing your color toner. Keep in mind the printer still needs all four cartridges installed to operate.
The C711n says a cartridge is low. Do I have to replace it right away?
Not immediately. A ‘toner low’ warning on the C711n is an early heads-up, and gently shaking the cartridge buys extra pages. Order the replacement for your C711n (44318601, 44318602, 44318603 and 44318604) now so you are ready when quality drops.
