Frequently Asked Questions
What toner set fits the Oki MC851?
The MC851 uses black 44059165, cyan 44059166, magenta 44059167, and yellow 44059168. Match each cartridge to its color slot during installation.
My MC851 prints color logos correctly but photos look dull. Why?
Dull photos with correct logos often point to a color cartridge running low, since photos demand more toner than simple graphics. Check the 44059166 through 44059168 levels and replace the low one.
How often should I run color calibration on the MC851?
Run it after replacing any color cartridge and whenever colors look off. Regular calibration keeps the four cartridges producing accurate, consistent color.
