Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner does the OKI MC851cdxn use?
The MC851cdxn uses black 44059165, cyan 44059166, magenta 44059167, and yellow 44059168. It is an A3 color multifunction with finishing options for workgroup use.
What finishing can the MC851cdxn do?
Depending on configuration it supports stapling and booklet-style output for reports and presentations. Finishing happens after printing, so it does not affect toner use, but it does make the machine a true departmental hub.
Should color calibration be run regularly on the MC851cdxn?
Yes. Run the printer's color calibration monthly or whenever output drifts, especially before important client-facing jobs. Calibration aligns the four 44059165-series cartridges so colors stay consistent over the cartridges' lives.
