Frequently Asked Questions

Why are the color cartridges rated at 11,500 pages but the black at 11,000?

That split is simply this family's published rating: each of the cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges is rated up to 11,500 pages, the black up to 11,000, all measured at standard 5% coverage. In practice your mileage follows your documents — a color-heavy workload will empty the color positions long before the ratings suggest, while text work leans on the black.

What am I buying in this MC851CDXN set?

A complete set of four cartridges — black, cyan, magenta, yellow — grouped under part numbers 44318601, 44318602, 44318603 and 44318604, priced at $137.17 for the box. Each cartridge is sealed separately, so replacements can happen one color at a time.

Which printers does the listing name?

The Oki C711dn and C711dtn. If yours is a different model, the four part numbers above are the dependable way to check a match before you spend anything.

Are these original Oki cartridges?

No, they are compatible cartridges. That is exactly why they carry our one-year warranty and one-year free returns — the policy is spelled out on the shipping & returns page.

Should I swap all four when only one color is empty?

Only if you want a uniform refresh. There is no technical need: pull the empty color, leave the others working. Many MC851CDXN owners do the full set when several cartridges are near the end together, simply to avoid repeat interruptions.

Where will my set ship from?

From one of four warehouses — IL, PA, GA or CA — whichever is best placed for your address. Support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST, and more Oki sets are catalogued on the Okidata brand page.

About This MC851CDXN 4-Color Set

One box, four positions covered: this set refreshes the MC851CDXN completely for $137.17, averaging roughly $34.29 a cartridge. Its ratings carry a small quirk worth knowing — the colors are rated slightly higher than the black (11,500 pages each against 11,000) — but both are healthy high-capacity figures for a busy color machine. Sold under part numbers 44318601 through 44318604, shipped from IL, PA, GA or CA, and protected by a one-year warranty plus one-year free returns.
