Frequently Asked Questions

What does this set put into the M680f?

One of every cartridge the machine uses: CF320A black (652A family), CF321A cyan, CF322A yellow and CF323A magenta (653A family). The complete set is $161.33.

The fax corner prints all day but colour work is occasional. How do the yields stack up for us?

Favourably. Fax pages draw only on the black cartridge, rated at 11,500 pages, while the colour cartridges sit at 16,500 pages each and are barely touched by occasional colour jobs. Expect black to be your repeat purchase and the colours to last.

Does a colour copy made at the fax machine use all four cartridges?

A colour copy uses the colours it needs plus black, exactly like a colour print. Only the fax function and mono copies restrict themselves to the black cartridge.

Can the person who tends the fax machine also change these cartridges?

Yes — no technician is needed. The cartridges are front-loading and colour-slotted, and the panel confirms each replacement. It is a routine office task, not a service call.

Should the spare set live next to the machine or in a central store?

Either works if the storage is flat, sealed and out of direct sun. Fax corners often keep just the black close at hand and hold the full set centrally, since black is the cartridge that actually interrupts the day when it runs out.

If a cartridge fails, what do we do?

Call support Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST. The set is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and the shipping & returns page shows how a return is started.

About This Set for the Enterprise M680f

The M680f keeps a fax line alive alongside full departmental colour printing and copying, and both duties run on this one set of cartridges: CF320A black plus CF321A, CF322A and CF323A colours — the 652A and 653A families together. The model's place in the range is shown on the Color LaserJet Enterprise MFP M680f category page.

Dispatch is from the closest of our IL, PA, GA and CA warehouses. For the inevitable extra black cartridge between full set changes, our HP range stocks the singles.
