Frequently Asked Questions

How does ordering work — does the whole CLX-3305 set arrive together?

Yes, it is one box and one shipment: the CLT-K406S black, CLT-C406S cyan, CLT-M406S magenta and CLT-Y406S yellow travel together, dispatched from whichever of our four warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is closest to the delivery address. The set costs $89.88, the same as the standard listing; the Premium Quality name does not add a handling fee or a surcharge of any kind.

Remind us what the four cartridges are rated at.

The black is rated at 1,500 pages and each color at 1,000 pages, on the standard 5% coverage basis — about 4,500 rated pages across the set, at roughly $22.47 per cartridge. Heavy color coverage will shorten the colors' real-world span, as it does on any cartridge.

When the box lands, must everything be fitted the same day?

No. Fit the cartridge the CLX-3305 is calling for and keep the rest sealed until their turn comes. Unopened cartridges store comfortably in a cool, dry cupboard away from direct light, so the set can be worked through over the machine's own schedule.

Does this set fit the other CLX-3305 variants in our office?

It does — the CLX-3305FN, CLX-3305FS, CLX-3305FW and CLX-3305W all run on the same CLT-406S set, as do the CLX-3300, CLX-3302, CLX-3303, CLX-3303FW and CLX-3304, the CLX-3306 and CLX-3307 families, the CLP-360, CLP-362, CLP-363, CLP-364, CLP-365, CLP-366, CLP-367 and CLP-368 printers, and the Xpress C410W and C460FW. One set type can stock every one of them.

Who do we contact if something is wrong with a cartridge?

Support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Each cartridge carries a one-year warranty, and returns are free at any point in the first year — the steps for sending a unit back are laid out on our shipping & returns page.

Is there anything else the CLX-3305 needs besides this set?

No other consumable. This platform builds everything into the four cartridges — there is no separate drum unit to schedule or buy — so the set on its own returns the machine to a fully stocked state.
