Frequently Asked Questions

How long will this set keep a busy MC890 running?

Judge it cartridge by cartridge. The black 44469801 is rated at up to 3,500 pages and each colour — 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703 — at up to 3,000 pages. On a shared departmental machine like the MC890, document printing works the black hardest, so that rating usually sets your reorder rhythm; mixed colour work draws all four down together. Either way, the set gives you a full, even starting point rather than one fresh cartridge alongside three tired ones.

What does the set include?

Four cartridges: one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow — the complete toner complement for the machine in a single box.

What is my cost per cartridge?

The set is $64.38, so each cartridge effectively costs about $16.10. The share is the same for the black as for each colour.

Should all four be changed together on a departmental machine?

If the machine cannot afford repeated downtime, yes. One planned stop to refresh all four beats four separate interruptions, and it keeps colour output consistent for the whole department. If usage is light and stops are cheap, fitting them as each one empties works just as well.

What cover comes with the set?

A 1-year warranty on every cartridge and free returns for a year, as described on our shipping and returns page. Questions before you order are welcome — support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.

Faded output on the MC890 — toner or machine?

Fading that affects one colour points at that colour's cartridge; a fresh one from this set is the quickest test. Fading or banding that survives a cartridge change points at the machine itself, and no amount of new toner will fix it — that distinction saves real money on a shared device.
