Frequently Asked Questions

What should I expect from this set for color documents on the MC873DNC?

A balanced four-color refresh: one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow cartridge, each rated at up to 10,000 pages, so all four colors start the cycle at the same fill level. That even starting point is what offices printing reports, proposals and charts on the MC873DNC usually want — no single tired color dragging down otherwise fresh output.

How is the $139.21 price composed?

It is one price for the complete set, averaging about $34.80 per cartridge. There is no separate charge per color and no premium for buying the four together — the box simply rounds up everything an MC873DNC needs in a single $139.21 order.

Which cartridge family does the MC873DNC take in this set?

The 44844509, 44844510, 44844511 and 44844512 family, referenced as a group of four rather than assigned color by color. Pull any cartridge from your machine and compare its number with that family — a match confirms this set.

Will each cartridge really deliver 10,000 pages?

The rating is up to 10,000 pages per cartridge under standard test coverage. Documents with light color accents land closest; pages saturated with color use cyan, magenta and yellow far faster, while black typically outlasts them in text-led work. Read 10,000 as the class rating for the set, applied cartridge by cartridge.

Can the cartridges be fitted one at a time?

Yes. Each arrives individually sealed, so you install the color the MC873DNC flags as empty and shelve the others. Keep the spares sealed, flat and out of direct sun at room temperature, and they will be ready whenever their color runs down.

What warranty and returns stand behind the set?

As Clever Supplies compatible cartridges, all four carry a one-year warranty plus one-year free returns — see our shipping & returns page for the terms. We dispatch from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, and support answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Central.
