Frequently Asked Questions

How long will this set keep a lightly used C510DN going?

Quite a while. The black cartridge is rated at up to 3,500 pages and each color at up to 3,000 pages, so a desk that prints a few hundred pages a month is looking at many months per cartridge. For a legacy machine like the C510DN, a single $64.38 set often covers the better part of a year of light duty.

My C510DN is an older model — are cartridges still straightforward to get?

Yes, that is precisely the point of this compatible set. It covers the Oki part numbers 44469801, 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703, keeping a dependable older printer supplied long after it stops being the current model in the catalogue.

Which other printers share this set?

The compatibility list for these cartridges runs across the older Oki C-series family: the C5100n, C5150n, C5200n, C5250, C5300n, the C5400 line including the C5400dn, C5400dtn, C5400n and C5400tn, and the C5450. Shops keeping several of those legacy machines alive can hold one set type for all of them.

What does the set contain?

Four cartridges — black, cyan, magenta and yellow — one for each toner position. At $64.38 the set works out to roughly $16.10 per cartridge, which is modest money for keeping a networked workhorse in service.

Should all four go in at once on a duplex machine?

Only the empty position needs changing; the C510DN tracks each cartridge separately. Installing just the spent color and shelving the rest spreads the set across several maintenance cycles instead of one.

What support and returns come with it?

The set is backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns — full terms on our shipping & returns page. Shipments originate from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and help is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
