Frequently Asked Questions

Does the "Premium Quality" in the name make this C510DN set cost more?

No — and we would rather say that plainly than dress it up. This Premium Quality set is priced at $64.38, exactly the same as the standard version of the same four-cartridge set, and the page ratings are the same too. The word "Premium" in the listing title does not buy you extra pages or a different yield figure, so please judge this set on the numbers below, not on the label.

Which four cartridges are in the box?

You get one black and one each of cyan, magenta and yellow — a complete CMYK refresh for your printer. The black cartridge carries Oki part number 44469801, and the three color cartridges carry part numbers 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703. Checking those four numbers against the cartridge you pull out of the machine is the surest way to confirm you are holding the right set.

How many pages should I expect from each cartridge?

The black 44469801 cartridge is rated at up to 3,500 pages, while each of the three color cartridges — 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703 — is rated at up to 3,000 pages. Black is rated a little higher because most offices print far more text than color, and real-world results will move up or down depending on how much of each page is covered.

Which printers does this set work in besides the C510dn?

The same four cartridges also serve the Oki C530dn and C531dn printers, plus the MC562w, MC890 and MC950 multifunction models. If your office runs a mix of those machines, one spare set on the shelf can cover any of them.

Do I have to install all four cartridges at the same time?

Not at all. Each cartridge is sealed and independent, so you can swap only the color your C510dn is asking for and keep the rest boxed as spares. Many owners replace the black first, since it usually runs out ahead of the colors.

What protection comes with the set if something goes wrong?

Every cartridge is covered by a 1-year warranty, and returns are free for a full year as well — the details live on our shipping and returns page. If you need a person rather than a page, our support team answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
