Frequently Asked Questions

Does "Premium" change the price of the C6150DN set?

It does not. This Premium listing is $145.50, identical to the standard C6150DN set, and the published ratings match as well. We would rather tell you that plainly than imply an upgrade the numbers do not show: the Premium name here costs nothing extra.

What do I get for that $145.50?

Four cartridges — one black, one cyan, one magenta and one yellow — which works out to about $36.38 per cartridge. They correspond collectively to the part numbers 43865717, 43865718, 43865719 and 43865720, and each arrives sealed so it can be installed individually as its slot in the C6150DN runs out.

How are the page ratings divided?

By class: the black cartridge is rated at up to 8,000 pages, while the cyan, magenta and yellow cartridges are each rated at up to 6,000 pages. We keep the figures separate rather than blending them into one total, because which rating matters depends entirely on whether your C6150DN prints mostly text or mostly color.

Which printers does this Premium set serve?

Your C6150DN, the rest of the C6150 line — C6150, C6150DTN, C6150HDN and C6150N — and the C5850, C5850DN and C5850N. All of them use the 43865717, 43865718, 43865719 and 43865720 cartridge family, which is why one set can be listed under so many model names.

What is the honest difference between this and the standard C6150DN listing?

On the evidence of the listings themselves: the price is the same $145.50 and the ratings are the same 8,000-page black and 6,000-page colors. We do not claim a specification difference we cannot point to — order from either listing and you receive a four-cartridge set from the same part-number family, covered the same way.

What cover do I have after buying?

These Clever Supplies compatible cartridges are backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, with the terms on our shipping & returns page. Orders ship from the closest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, and support is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
