Frequently Asked Questions
This listing says "Premium Quality" and costs the same $395.49 as the standard 330-5207 5-pack. What is actually different?
On everything that can be measured, nothing — and we would rather say that plainly than invent a distinction. This pack and the standard 330-5207 5-pack carry the same part number, the same 14,000-page rating per cartridge, the same $395.49 price and the same warranty and returns terms. "Premium Quality" is part of this listing's name, not a separate specification we can point to: no higher yield figure, no different page rating, no extra cover is attached to the word. If you are choosing between the two listings, choose on availability — the cartridges that arrive will be the same 330-5207 high-yield units either way.
What does the pack work out to per cartridge and per page?
Five cartridges for $395.49 is $79.10 per cartridge, against $93.89 for the 330-5207 bought singly — a saving of $73.96 against five singles at $469.45. Each cartridge is rated at 14,000 pages, so the pack holds 70,000 rated pages and the cost per page works out at roughly 0.56 cents, down from about 0.67 cents at the single price. Those are the figures to set against any other quote for this machine.
How much printing does 70,000 pages represent for a 3330 or 3330DN?
A great deal. At 1,000 pages a month it is nearly six years of output; at a heavy 3,000 pages a month it is still close to two years. That scale is the real character of this pack: it is a supply decision for a machine you expect to keep and feed, not a top-up. Offices printing a few hundred pages a month will take so long to work through five high-yield cartridges that the single cartridge is the more sensible purchase, whatever the per-page saving says.
How should the cartridges be stored and rotated?
Flat, sealed in their packaging, in a normal room-temperature cupboard away from direct sunlight and radiators — heat and light are the enemies of toner powder and cartridge seals. Fit them strictly in arrival order, oldest first, and only open a cartridge when the printer is ready for it. With five cartridges rated at 14,000 pages each, the last unit in this pack may sit for a long while before its turn; stored properly and rotated honestly, it will deliver its rated output when fitted.
Is there any risk in tying up $395.49 in toner for one machine?
One, and it is worth naming: the saving only materialises if the cartridges get used. If the 3330 or 3330DN is replaced before the pack is finished, the remaining cartridges have no printer to serve. So the pack suits settled installations — a machine with no replacement planned and a steady workload. If your printer plans are genuinely uncertain, the single 330-5207 at $93.89 keeps your commitment to one cartridge at a time, at the cost of the higher per-page rate.
What warranty and returns terms come with this pack?
The same terms as every 330-5207 listing: these are compatible cartridges, not Dell-manufactured ones, and each is covered by a 1-year warranty with 1-year free returns — full details are on our shipping and returns page. Print-quality problems within that year are handled under those terms, cartridge by cartridge. Orders ship from whichever of our warehouses — Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California — is nearest to you, and support runs Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
