Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner cartridges fit the Oki C530?
The C530 uses black 44469701, cyan 44469702, magenta 44469703 and yellow 44469801 — four individual cartridges. This is the same toner family used by the C531 and C330-series models, which simplifies stocking if your office runs more than one Oki printer.
How is the C530 different from the C531?
The two are close siblings in Oki's lineup, with the C531 generally being the newer or higher-spec'd of the pair. Both take the identical 44469701/44469702/44469703/44469801 toner set, so consumable buying is the same either way — the differences are in speed, paper handling and feature details, not toner.
Can I print envelopes on the C530 without wasting color toner?
Yes — feed envelopes through the multi-purpose tray and set the driver to black-and-white, so only the 44469701 black cartridge is used. Envelopes print fine on Oki LED printers as long as the flap lies flat and the driver media type is set to envelope for correct fusing.
