Frequently Asked Questions

What does "Type C17" mean in this set's name?

Type C17 is the cartridge family designation Oki uses for this group of machines — it is the label under which these four cartridges serve a whole range of Oki color printers and multifunction models. The listing spells the family out in part numbers: 44469801 for black and 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703 for the three colors. If your machine takes Type C17 cartridges, these are its numbers.

What is included in the set?

Four cartridges — black, cyan, magenta and yellow, one each. It is a complete toner set for a Type C17 machine, not a partial refill.

What page ratings should I work with?

Up to 3,500 pages from the black 44469801 and up to 3,000 pages from each color cartridge. Keep them as four separate figures in your planning: the ratings are per cartridge, and your machine will spend them at different rates depending on what you print.

How does the price divide across the four cartridges?

The set is $64.38, which works out to roughly $16.10 per cartridge — the black and the colors share the price evenly.

One of my colors has run out but the others are fine — must I change all four?

No. Change the empty one and keep the rest of the set as spares. Buying the set simply means every future change is already paid for and on the shelf; nothing forces you to fit all four at once.

What if a cartridge proves faulty?

Each one carries a 1-year warranty, and returns are free for a year under our shipping and returns page. If you would like help deciding whether a print fault is toner or machine, support is available Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.
