The carton for our M602N cartridge arrived crushed. What do we do first?

Photograph the box before opening it, then open it and inspect the cartridge itself. The CE390A travels in a sealed bag inside a moulded shell, so carton damage alone rarely reaches the unit. Look for cracks in the housing, a bent shutter, or a broken sealing-tape tab — those are the findings that matter, and the photos are your evidence if a claim is needed.

The cartridge looks fine despite the box. Can we install it?

Yes. If the housing is intact, the bag was sealed and the tape is seated, fit it and print a test page. Dense, even output closes the matter. Keep the delivery photos until that test page exists — if the unit then misbehaves, the record of the crushed carton supports the transit-damage claim.

What should the label on a correct delivery show?

CE390A as the part number, with 90A as the series name. Both codes describe this one cartridge for the M602N. A different code on the label means a different cartridge — stop there, do not open the bag, and contact us; an unopened wrong item is the simplest possible exchange.

The bag inside was already open when the box arrived. Problem?

Treat it as one. The sealed bag is part of the product: it keeps toner in and moisture out. A bag that arrives opened means the cartridge has been exposed, and you should not have to accept that.
