Frequently Asked Questions

What does the four-pack contain?

Four individually sealed black cartridges, each one a CE390A — HP's 90A. They arrive as four separate units in one order, ready to be drawn down one at a time rather than installed together.

Why stock four cartridges for the 600 series?

Because these printers usually come in groups. A floor running an M601n, an M602x and an M603dn shares a single cartridge type, so four 90A units on one shelf mean any of those machines can be refilled the moment its warning light appears — no waiting on a delivery while a department queues its printing elsewhere.

What is the rated life of a single cartridge?

10,000 pages at standard coverage, and the rating is per cartridge. A unit fitted this week and a unit fitted next season each deliver that full life; none of the four is a short-fill or introductory cartridge.

When should I reorder after buying four?

When the third cartridge goes into a printer. That leaves one sealed CE390A as cover while the next order travels, so the shelf never actually empties. Marking the arrival month on each box makes that count easy to read at a glance.

Do all four cartridges have to serve the same printer?

No — the CE390A fits the Enterprise 600 M601, M602 and M603 printers and the M4555 multifunction range, including the Enterprise M4555f. The pack is a shared pool for whichever machine in that family runs dry first.

How are the cartridges covered if something goes wrong?

Individually. Each unit carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, so one defective cartridge is sorted out on its own without disturbing the other three. The team is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you need a hand.
