Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly am I buying on this page?

One high-yield black cartridge for the LaserJet Enterprise M602dn, sold under its full code CE390X and its short code 90X — the same unit either way. It is a single cartridge, sealed, rated at 24,000 pages, and priced at $58.64.

How far does 24,000 pages go in a department that prints reports all month?

Farther than most departments expect. Even a busy team printing a few hundred pages a day measures this cartridge's life in months, and the month-end surge — statements, summaries, board packs — is exactly the kind of spike a high-yield unit is bought to absorb without a mid-run change.

Our M602dn prints two-sided almost always. Does the yield change?

The rating counts printed sides. A duplex report of forty pages consumes forty pages of the rating on twenty sheets, so plan paper and toner separately: duplexing halves your paper use while the cartridge still delivers its full 24,000 printed pages.

Pages are coming out pale on one side. Is the cartridge finished?

One-sided fading usually means the remaining toner has settled unevenly inside the cartridge. Take it out, rock it gently from side to side a few times, and refit it — density normally evens out. If fading returns within a short run, the unit is genuinely at the end of its 24,000 pages.

Is the fitting procedure any different on the M602dn?

No. The LaserJet Enterprise 600 M602dn uses the same top-cover exchange as the rest of the 600 series: old cartridge out by its handle, sealing strip off the new one, slide in, close the cover. No tools, no settings to change, no test page required before real jobs.

What happens if the cartridge arrives damaged?

It is covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and help is available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. A damaged or early-fading unit is replaced or refunded under those terms.
