Frequently asked questions

What toner does the Brother MFC-7360N use?

The Brother MFC-7360N uses TN420 standard-yield (approx. 1,200 pages) and TN450 high-yield (approx. 2,600 pages) black toner cartridges, plus the DR420 drum unit (approx. 12,000 pages).

What is the difference between the TN420 and TN450?

Both fit the MFC-7360N. The TN450 (also written TN-450) is the high-yield version (about 2,600 pages) — it lowers your cost per page compared to the standard TN420 (about 1,200 pages). If you print regularly, step up to the TN450.

Does the Brother MFC-7360N need a drum unit?

Yes. The MFC-7360N uses the Brother DR420 drum unit (also listed as DR-420), rated for about 12,000 pages. Replace it when print quality degrades — streaks, spots or faded prints — even if toner remains.

Are compatible TN420 and TN450 toner cartridges safe for my Brother MFC-7360N?

Yes. Our compatible cartridges are engineered to meet or exceed Brother's specifications and are backed by a lifetime warranty. Using compatible cartridges does not void your printer's warranty.

Which cartridge is the best value for heavy printing?

For the heaviest printing, the TN450 high-yield cartridge (about 2,600 pages) gives the MFC-7360N its lowest cost per page. For occasional printing, the standard TN420 is the most economical upfront.
