Frequently Asked Questions

How does a 4-pack change the running-cost picture for a small office?

Four cartridges bring 10,400 rated pages at $53.04 — $13.26 per cartridge, roughly 0.51 cents per page. Set against four separate purchases of the single TN450 at $27.13 each, this pack saves $55.48 over its lifetime, which for most small offices is the difference between toner being a budget line and toner being an afterthought.

The listing mentions TN420 and TN450 — which one is in the box?

The high-yield one. TN420 (1,200 pages) and TN450 (2,600 pages) share the same shell and the same printers; the dual naming exists because different printer manuals cite different codes. Every cartridge in this 4-pack is filled to the TN450 specification.

Which machines will these cartridges serve?

Any model in this list: DCP-7060D, DCP-7065DN, HL-2130, HL-2132, HL-2220, HL-2230, HL-2240, HL-2240D, HL-2242D, HL-2250DN, HL-2270DW, HL-2275DW, HL-2280DW, Intellifax 2840, Intellifax 2940, MFC-7240, MFC-7360N, MFC-7365DN and MFC-7460DN. Offices running two or three of these models side by side can feed all of them from this single pack, since the cartridge is common across the platform.

Should the drum be budgeted alongside a 4-pack?

It is worth checking the page counter. The drum unit is rated about 12,000 pages, so a fresh drum will outlast almost this entire pack; if your current drum is already deep into its life, adding one when you order prevents a mid-pack interruption. Replace it on the printer's warning, not on a fixed schedule.

Do four cartridges bought together all carry the same protection?

Yes — the 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns in our shipping and returns policy cover every unit in the box, first or fourth. Orders ship from the nearest of our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California warehouses, with support available 9 AM–5 PM CST.

How do I swap a cartridge when one runs dry?

Open the front cover, pull the drum-and-toner assembly out, press the release lever to free the empty cartridge, and click the new one in until it seats. Return the assembly, close the cover, and the printer is ready — the whole job takes about a minute and needs no tools.
