Frequently Asked Questions

What do I get in this 2 pack?

Two individually sealed CE390X black cartridges, each in its own protective bag inside the carton. One goes straight into the printer; the second stays sealed on the shelf as a standing spare, so the next low-toner warning never turns into a wait for a delivery.

Is CE390X the same cartridge as the 90X?

Yes — two names for one high-yield unit. CE390X is the full part number, 90X the short series name printed on supply labels. Order by whichever you have in front of you; the cartridges in this pack are what arrives either way.

How does the one-running, one-spare rhythm work in practice?

Fit the first cartridge when the old one fades. The day the sealed spare goes into the machine becomes your reorder signal: order the next 2 pack then, and the shelf is never truly empty while a cartridge is still running.

What does the 24,000-page rating mean for a busy department?

Each cartridge is rated at 24,000 pages at standard coverage, so on a hard-working LaserJet Enterprise 600 or M4555 machine the swap interval stretches right out — fewer mid-job interruptions and fewer changeovers to plan around.

How should the spare cartridge be stored?

Flat, in its sealed bag, in a cool dry cupboard away from direct sunlight. Open the bag only when the cartridge is going into the printer, and rock the unit gently from side to side before fitting to level the toner inside.

What cover comes with this pack?

Each cartridge carries a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns: a unit that arrives damaged or fades far short of its rating is replaced or refunded. Support answers Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This CE390X 2 Pack

At $98.79, this pack suits a single hard-used monochrome machine — a LaserJet Enterprise 600 M601, M602 or M603, or an M4555 multifunction such as the Enterprise M4555f — where one cartridge runs and one waits. Orders ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA; the shipping & returns page covers delivery and returns, and the wider range sits under HP.
