Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner cartridges does the Oki C5800 take?
The C5800 takes black 43381901, cyan 43381902, magenta 43381903, and yellow 43381904. Use these exact numbers. Other Oki color families will not fit this model.
My C5800 prints have a yellow cast over everything. What is wrong?
A color cast usually means one color cartridge is low or the printer needs color calibration. Check toner levels first, then run the calibration routine after replacing any depleted cartridge.
Is it worth keeping spare cartridges for the C5800?
Yes for offices that print daily. A spare black 43381901 prevents downtime since black depletes fastest on mixed jobs. Store spares sealed, flat, and away from heat.
