Frequently Asked Questions

How many pages will one cartridge realistically deliver in my Xpress M2670?

The MLT-D115L is rated at 3,000 pages on standard test pages. Real offices print a mix - emails, invoices, the occasional dense report - and that mix usually lands within sight of the rating. If your M2670 lives on heavy documents, expect somewhat fewer; if it mostly prints light text, expect the rating or better.

Our M2670 is shared by the whole team - how quickly will we use up 3,000 pages?

Shared printers eat toner faster than anyone guesses. Three or four people printing steadily can work through 1,000 pages a month without noticing, which makes one cartridge roughly a quarter's supply. It is worth checking the printer's page counter once; that number turns guessing into a schedule.

What does this cartridge cost per printed page in the M2670?

The cartridge is $37.06, so the toner cost is about 1.24 cents a page. Feeding the same printer from the five-pack of this cartridge drops that to about 0.74 cents - worth knowing if the team's monthly page count is climbing.

Which other printers take this same cartridge?

The M2670's cartridge is shared across the Xpress M2620, Xpress M2670, Xpress M2820, Xpress M2870 and Xpress M2880FW, and the SL-M2820DW, SL-M2830DW, SL-M2870FW, SL-M2880FW, SL-ML2830DW and Xpress M2830 DW. One spare on the shelf therefore covers any of those machines, which simplifies life in a mixed office.

Prints from the M2670 are fading on one side - what does that mean?

One-sided fading usually means the remaining toner has settled unevenly. Remove the cartridge and rock it gently from side to side to level the powder, then refit it. If the same pale band returns quickly, the fill is nearly spent. A repeating spot or line at fixed intervals is a different fault - that points to the MLT-R115 imaging drum, not the toner.

What warranty and returns cover backs this purchase?

A year's warranty and a year of free returns: if this cartridge leaks, streaks or fails early, it comes back at no cost. The terms are on the shipping and returns page. We ship from warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA, and support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
