Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner does the OKI MB 480 use?
The MB 480 uses toner cartridge 43979101 and image drum 43979201 as separate units. It is a monochrome multifunction for workgroups that need print, copy, scan, and fax.
What is the difference between the MB 480 and the MB 470?
The MB 480 is the faster, higher-duty step up from the MB 470, but both use the same 43979101 toner and 43979201 drum. Consumable stocking stays simple if you run both.
The MB 480's copies are streaky but prints are fine. Where is the problem?
The scanner needs cleaning, not the print engine. Wipe the flatbed glass and the narrow feeder strip; debris there streaks every copy and scan while computer prints stay clean because they bypass the scanner entirely.
