B440
The Okidata B440 is a monochrome laser printer from OKI's B400 series, designed for workgroups that need dependable high-volume black-and-white output. It takes the same black toner family as the B410 and B430 — the 43979101, 43979201, and 43979206 cartridges at 3,500, 7,000, and 12,000 pages respectively — so the office can scale capacity with demand.

Frequently Asked Questions
What toner does the Oki B440 use?
The B440 accepts three black toner yields: 43979101 (standard), 43979201 (high-yield) and 43979206 (extra-high-yield). Any of the three fits — pick the yield that matches your monthly volume.
Which B440 toner gives the lowest cost per page?
The extra-high-yield 43979206. Cost per page falls as cartridge yield rises, so the 43979206 is the economical pick for steady daily printing, while the 43979101 suits light or intermittent use.
Can I switch from the standard 43979101 to the 43979206 mid-life of the printer?
Absolutely — the B440 takes whichever of the three cartridges you install next. Many offices start with the 43979101 and move up to the 43979201 or 43979206 once they see their real monthly volume.
