Frequently Asked Questions
Which toner fits the OKI MB 470?
The MB 470 uses toner cartridges 43979101 and 43979201, with the toner and image drum as separate replaceable units. It is a mono multifunction built for small workgroups.
Can the MB 470 print when the drum needs replacing but toner is fine?
Printing with a worn drum gives poor quality, repeating marks, or drum-life errors that block jobs. Replace the drum when the printer flags it; the 43979101 toner can stay if it still has life left.
How do I scan to a network folder on the MB 470?
Configure the destination folder through the printer's web interface using its IP address, then select it from the scan menu on the control panel. Scanning works independently of toner and drum status.
