Frequently Asked Questions
What cartridge fits the MB470?
The MB470 uses 43979101 and 43979201. Swap in a fresh cartridge when prints fade or the printer reports toner out — it is a quick front-loading swap with no tools.
Does the MB470 toner cartridge include the drum?
They are separate: the MB470 uses a replaceable toner cartridge plus a longer-life image drum. When prints fade, replace the toner first — drums typically outlast several toner cartridges.
How do I replace the toner cartridge in the MB470?
Open the front cover, pull the empty cartridge out by its handle and slide the new 43979101 and 43979201 in until it seats. The MB470 is designed for clean, tool-free swaps that take seconds.
