Frequently Asked Questions

What does this pack contain?

Three CE255X high-yield black cartridges at $93.64, each in its own sealed box and each rated at 12,500 pages. It is a stock-up quantity for a multifunction machine with a serious monthly page count.

How do copying and faxing figure into the cartridge's life?

They draw on it exactly as printing does. On an MFP, copied files and incoming faxes are printed pages, so the 12,500-page rating is shared across all three jobs; only scanning leaves the cartridge untouched.

Why three, rather than one at a time?

Seasonal peaks. An accounting office in tax season or a school office at term start can double its output for weeks. Three high-yield cartridges mean the surge is met from the shelf, not from a delivery schedule.

How do I watch the level across a long cartridge life?

The machine's control panel and web interface report the remaining level continuously. With cartridges lasting this long, a monthly glance is a good habit — the gauge drifts slowly, then the end approaches quickly.

How should the two waiting cartridges be kept?

Sealed and flat in a cool, dry cupboard, fitted oldest-first. Mark the boxes with the arrival month if several packs overlap, and the rotation stays obvious to whoever manages supplies.

What is the right moment to reorder?

When the last cartridge of the three leaves the shelf. You still hold a full 12,500-page cartridge in the machine at that point, which is ample cover while the next pack is on its way.
