Color 3500

The HP Color 3500 belonged to the early-2000s wave that made color laser printing practical for ordinary businesses. It turned everyday documents — proposals, charts, presentations — into full-color output.

Toner comes from the HP 308A black (Q2670A) and 309A color family (Q2671A cyan, Q2672A magenta, Q2673A yellow). We carry compatible and genuine OEM cartridges for the 3500.

Frequently Asked Questions

Which toner cartridges are compatible with the Color 3500?

The correct cartridges for the Color 3500 are Q2670A, Q2671A, Q2672A, Q2673A (HP 308A Black + 309A Color). Whether you buy OEM or compatible, that number is what matters — anything outside HP 308A Black + 309A Color will not seat properly in the Color 3500.

Is it safe for the Color 3500 to run compatible toner long term?

No — using a compatible cartridge doesn't void the Color 3500's hardware warranty on its own. If a cartridge ever caused damage, that would be on the cartridge, but normal compatible HP 308A Black + 309A Color cartridges are designed to the same fit as OEM.

Where can I download drivers for the Color 3500?

Setting up the Color 3500 on a new computer means grabbing the full driver package from HP support and running the installer. Avoid generic drivers if you want full access to the Color 3500's features.
