Frequently Asked Questions

Why would an ML-1910 owner stock five cartridges at once?

Usually because the ML-1910 is not alone. The MLT-D105L is shared across a whole shelf of Samsung machines, so a small business running an ML-1910 beside an SCX multifunction or an ML-2525 feeds them all from this one box. Five cartridges — up to 12,500 pages — means toner stops being a recurring errand and becomes a stocked supply, like paper.

What does the 5 pack do to the price per cartridge?

It brings it down to $24.60. Five singles would cost $197.00 in total; this pack is $123.02, a saving of $73.98. Every cartridge in the box is the full MLT-D105L with its complete 2,500-page rating — the discount is for volume, not for a lesser cartridge.

And the cost per page across the pack?

Roughly 0.98 cents per page over the 12,500 pages the five cartridges can deliver — the first pack size in this family to push toner under a cent a sheet. Against roughly 1.58 cents at the single price, the difference is visible on a year's printing bill.

Exactly which machines can draw on this stock?

The MLT-D105L serves the ML-1910, ML-1915, ML-2525, ML-2525W, ML-2545 and ML-2580n printers, and the SCX-4600, SCX-4623F, SCX-4623FN, SCX-4623FW and SF-650. If it takes this cartridge, it can take one from this pack — there is no per-machine sorting to do.

How should five cartridges be stored so the last one prints like the first?

Sealed, flat and in a cool, dry place, used in the order they arrived. Heat and humidity are the real enemies of a stored cartridge; time alone is not. A supply cupboard shelf meets those conditions in almost any office.

Does a pack this size still carry proper warranty cover?

It does — a 1-year warranty on each cartridge and free returns for a year, the same cover the single carries. Our shipping and returns page has the full wording, and support is staffed Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
