Frequently Asked Questions

Our ML-1910 keeps running dry mid-job — does keeping a spare actually change that?

It changes the ending. Running out stops being a two-day wait for a delivery and becomes a two-minute swap at the desk. With one MLT-D105L working in the ML-1910 and its twin in the drawer, the low-toner warning turns into a reminder to reorder, not an emergency that stalls the job in the tray.

What is the saving on this 2 pack?

Two single cartridges bought apart cost $78.80. The pair is $60.31 — $30.16 per cartridge — so you save $18.49 and get the shelf spare into the bargain. Both cartridges carry the full 2,500-page rating of the MLT-D105L; nothing is diluted to hit the pack price.

How long will the pair last our ML-1910?

Together they hold up to 5,000 pages. A home office printing 400 pages a month is looking at roughly a year of cover; a busier ML-1910 at 1,000 pages a month will work through the box in about five months. Across the pair, toner cost per page drops to around 1.21 cents.

Which printers can use these cartridges?

The MLT-D105L fits the ML-1910 at the centre of this listing and also the ML-1915, ML-2525, ML-2525W, ML-2545 and ML-2580n, together with the SCX-4600, SCX-4623F, SCX-4623FN, SCX-4623FW and the SF-650. The two cartridges can serve two different machines from that list if you prefer.

Should the spare stay in its box until the first cartridge dies?

Yes — sealed, flat and indoors is the right way to hold it. Powder toner does not go stale on a schedule, but a damaged seal or a hot, damp shelf will shorten its life. Open it only when the ML-1910 asks for it.

Are both cartridges covered the same way?

Each one has its own 1-year warranty, and free returns run for a year after purchase. You can read how a return works on our shipping and returns page; the support team answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
