Frequently Asked Questions

When copies count as well as prints, how far does a 15,000-page box stretch in the Xpress M2880FW?

Count every page the machine produces. A multifunction turning out 1,200 pages a month across prints, copies and received faxes works through the five MLT-D115L cartridges in about twelve to thirteen months. Offices that only tally their print jobs routinely underestimate the total - the machine's own page counter gives the figure that includes everything.

What is the per-cartridge maths of this pack?

The pack is $111.37 for five cartridges, which is $22.27 each. Bought singly at $37.06, five would cost $185.30, so the saving across the box is $73.93, and the toner cost per page falls from about 1.24 cents to roughly 0.74 cents for every print and copy the M2880FW makes.

How should a five-cartridge stock be kept so the last one prints like the first?

Sealed, flat, cool and dry. Keep the unopened cartridges in their bags in a cupboard away from heat sources and sunlight, and take them in arrival order. Toner powder inside an intact seal does not deteriorate on any timescale that matters here; a torn seal or a hot, damp shelf is what actually shortens a stored cartridge's useful life.

Can other Samsung printers in the office draw from this pack?

Yes. These MLT-D115L cartridges also fit the Xpress M2620, Xpress M2670, Xpress M2820, Xpress M2870, Xpress M2880FW and Xpress M2830 DW, and the SL-M2820DW, SL-M2830DW, SL-M2870FW, SL-M2880FW and SL-ML2830DW. The pack can therefore act as the whole platform's toner stock, with the M2880FW simply taking its share.

What cover does each cartridge in the box carry?

Its own. Every cartridge is backed by a 1-year warranty and free returns for a year, independently of the others, so if the third cartridge streaks or leaks it goes back alone while one and two - and four and five - carry on. Keep the order details and the claim is straightforward whenever in the pack's life the fault appears.

What if we change our minds about the pack?

Returns stay free for a full year, so an unopened or barely started box bought in error can go back rather than gather dust. The steps are laid out on the shipping and returns page, and support can talk you through it Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Parcels are dispatched from our warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA.
