Xpress M2880FW
The Xpress M2880FW closes the D115 line as its wireless flagship — top speed, full wireless, one-piece cartridge simplicity. When the fastest machine in the family still uses a 3,000-page-maximum cartridge, buying that cartridge compatibly isn't just saving money, it's the only sane way to run it. Our MLT-D115L high-yield fits perfectly.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should I buy the MLT-D115S or the MLT-D115L for the Xpress M2880FW?
Both fit the Xpress M2880FW identically; the MLT-D115L high-yield cartridge simply holds more toner and costs less per page, while the MLT-D115S standard cartridge costs less upfront. For a mono all-in-one with fax and wireless with steady volume, the L cartridge means fewer swaps and lower running costs. Light or occasional users do fine with the S — toner does not improve with age, so there is no benefit to buying capacity you will not use within a year or so.
The Xpress M2880FW does not recognize my new toner cartridge. What fixes it?
Switch the Xpress M2880FW off, remove the cartridge, and wipe the chip contacts with a dry lint-free cloth before reinstalling it with a firm push until it clicks. A cartridge exposed to heat or cold in shipping can misread until it reaches room temperature. If a third-party cartridge is repeatedly rejected, the printer firmware is likely refusing its chip, and a genuine MLT-D115 cartridge is the dependable alternative.
Is faxing eating my toner on the Xpress M2880FW?
It can. Every received fax prints, so the Xpress M2880FW consumes MLT-D115 toner on each one, and junk faxes are pure waste — enable junk-fax blocking to cut them off. Turn off automatic transmission and activity reports, or set them to print only on error. Offices that fax rarely should also check for receive-to-memory or fax-forwarding options that skip printing entirely.
