Frequently Asked Questions

What happens to MC362W print quality when just one color runs low?

The machine keeps printing, but colors that depend on the fading cartridge start to drift — skies go thin when the blues are starved, warm tones flatten when the reds are. Because each color in this set is rated at 3,000 pages while the black is rated at 3,500, the colors do not empty in lockstep. That is exactly why the set format suits the MC362W: the replacement for whichever color dips first is already on your shelf.

Which Oki part numbers am I replacing with this set?

As a group: 44469801, 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703. Cross-check one against the label of a cartridge you remove and you have confirmed the match without guessing.

Is this a sensible buy for a wireless home-office setup?

It is the setup this set quietly targets. A wireless MFP in a home office tends to be forgotten until it stops mid-job; keeping the four-cartridge set nearby means a low color is a two-minute swap, not a shopping trip. At $64.38 — roughly $16.10 per cartridge — the insurance costs less than one rush order's delivery fees over a year.

Do the page ratings differ between black and color?

Yes, and deliberately so in how we describe them: the black cartridge is rated at 3,500 pages, each color cartridge at 3,000 pages, both on the standard 5%-coverage basis. We never blend those into a single combined page count, because your black and your colors live separate lives in the machine.

What covers me if a cartridge fails early?

A 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, cartridge by cartridge. Fine print-free version: if it fails in normal use within the year, we replace or refund. The formal version is on our Shipping & Returns page.

Who do I contact, and when?

Our support team, Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST. Orders ship from Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses, whichever shortens the trip to you.
