Frequently Asked Questions

Does the "Premium Quality" in the name make this MC362W MFP set cost more?

It does not. This Premium Quality set is $64.38 — exactly the standard set's price — with the same ratings behind it: black up to 3,500 pages, each color up to 3,000 pages. We are not going to suggest the label adds toner or lifespan, because it does not. The cartridges replacing Oki numbers 44469801, 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703 are the purchase; the name on the listing changes nothing on your invoice, which comes to about $16.10 per cartridge either way.

What will I find in the box?

Four sealed cartridges: a black, a cyan, a magenta and a yellow. That is the complete toner complement of the Oki MC362W MFP — enough to refresh every slot at once, or to install one now and shelve three as spares. No drums are included; this set is toner only.

How do copying and printing affect these yields?

Both pull from the same four cartridges, and the published ratings — 3,500 pages for black, 3,000 per color at 5% coverage — make no distinction between a printed page and a copied one. A front desk that copies color forms all day will cycle the colors faster than a back office that mostly prints text. If your MC362W's colors seem to vanish ahead of schedule, the copier is the usual explanation.

When should I swap cartridges — at the first low warning?

Usually not yet. The first low-toner message on these machines tends to arrive with a useful reserve still in the cartridge; gentle shaking can redistribute the remaining toner for a while longer. Keep this set on hand, wait until output actually fades or the machine stops, then swap the flagged cartridge. You will get closer to the full rated life that way.

Which other machines can use this set?

The cartridge family — numbers 44469801, 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703 — is listed for the Oki C330dn, C331dn, C530dn and C531dn printers and the MC562w, MC890 and MC950 multifunctions, as well as the MC362W MFP named here. That makes the set a flexible spare for any office running several of those models.

What if something is wrong with a cartridge?
