Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly arrives in this 2 pack?

Two CE278A black cartridges — the HP 78A part — in one order at $34.70. The idea is simple rotation: one cartridge goes into the printer now, and the second waits sealed on the shelf so the next change is a two-minute job instead of an emergency order.

How much printing does each cartridge in the pair cover?

Each one carries the family's standard rating of 2,100 pages of typical office text. The pair is not a special high-yield variant; it is the regular CE278A, doubled, so output quality and page counts per cartridge match the single exactly.

Will the spare cartridge go stale waiting its turn?

No. Kept sealed, flat and indoors, a toner cartridge simply waits. Toner is a dry powder, not an ink, so there is no drying-out clock running on the spare — store it away from heat and direct sun and it will be ready months later.

Does the second cartridge fit the same machines as the first?

Both are the identical CE278A part, made for the LaserJet Pro P1566 and P1606dn printers and the M1536dnf multifunction model. If you run two of those machines side by side, the spare can serve whichever one runs low first.

How does the changeover go when the warning appears?

Lift the printer's top cover, slide the finished cartridge out, strip the protective pieces from the fresh one, give it a gentle side-to-side rock, and slide it home. Close the cover and the machine returns to work — no tools, no settings to change.

Are both cartridges covered if one disappoints?

Yes. The pack is sold with a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns, and support can be reached Monday–Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST if you want help pinning down a print fault before deciding a cartridge is to blame.
