Frequently Asked Questions

How long will this set keep a WorkCentre 74xx running?

The black 006R01395 is rated at up to 25,000 pages and the three colors — cyan 006R01398, magenta 006R01397 and yellow 006R01396 — at up to 15,000 pages each, measured at the standard 5% coverage. For a mid-size office that prints a few thousand pages a month, that is a long stretch between toner orders; copy-heavy use with solid color areas shortens it.

What is included in the box?

One cartridge for every position: black 006R01395, cyan 006R01398, magenta 006R01397 and yellow 006R01396. Nothing else is needed to restock the machine — open the front cover, and each cartridge slides into its labeled bay.

My model name has extra letters, like FBX or RLX. Does this set still fit?

Yes. The 7425, 7428 and 7435 were sold in many configurations — the FB, FBX, FL, FLX, FX, R, RB, RBX, RL, RLX and RX suffixes describe finishers, trays and regional bundles, not different toner. Every configuration of those three models draws on the same four cartridges in this set.

Which models does the set cover?

The WorkCentre 7425, the WorkCentre 7428 and the WorkCentre 7435, in all of their lettered variants. If the cartridge coming out of the machine reads 006R01395, 006R01398, 006R01397 or 006R01396, you have the right family.

Can I change just the color that ran out?

Absolutely. The four cartridges are independent, so the empty one can be swapped in minutes while the others keep working. Keeping the unopened remainder of the set in a cool, dry cupboard preserves them until their turn comes.

What do the warranty and delivery look like?

The set is $132.31, covered by a 1-year warranty and 1-year free returns as described on our shipping & returns page. Orders ship from our Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia or California warehouses, and support runs Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This Xerox WorkCentre 7425 4 Color Set

This set is the single-order restock for the WorkCentre 7425, 7428 and 7435 platform: black 006R01395 (up to 25,000 pages) plus cyan 006R01398, magenta 006R01397 and yellow 006R01396 (up to 15,000 pages each), at $132.31. One cartridge family covers every configuration suffix those models were sold under, which keeps ordering simple for offices running several variants side by side. Cartridges for other machines in your fleet are listed under our wider Xerox range.
