WorkCentre 7435FL
The Xerox WorkCentre 7435FL is a color laser multifunction from the WorkCentre 7435 family, sold in one of the family’s several factory configurations. Xerox specifies the 006R01395 black cartridge for this model, yielding approximately 26,000 pages, with the 006R01398 cyan, 006R01397 magenta and 006R01396 yellow cartridges providing color. The 013R00647 drum unit sits apart from the toner supply and is replaced independently. Nothing about the FL configuration changes that list.
For a workgroup, the appeal of this platform is dependable color without drama: the same output quality in month twelve as in month one, and consumables that a non-technical office manager can reorder from a sticky note. The 7435FL typically lives where several people share one machine for everyday documents, occasional color reports and walk-up copying, and where a 26,000-page black cartridge keeps both cost and interruptions down.

Imaging is handled outside the toner cartridges. The drum unit for this machine is the 013R00647, stocked here as a drum 2 pack and a drum 4 pack.
Which cartridge should you buy?
The practical question is whether to restock piecemeal or all at once. Because the black 006R01395 is rated around 26,000 pages, it is usually the first and most frequent purchase, and it is stocked here as a 2 pack so a spare is always on hand. Colors move slower and tend to run down together, which is why this page offers them as the 3 Color Set; fitting fresh cyan, magenta and yellow at the same time also keeps color balance even. The 5 Color Set is the full reset: black plus all three colors in one box, sensible after a heavy quarter. Whichever route you take, the compatible cartridges are backed by a 1-year warranty and 1-year returns.
Chip, toner and everyday use
Keep a simple rhythm: when the machine warns that toner is low, finish the cartridge that is in it — the warning arrives with plenty of pages left — and have the replacement ready. Rock the new cartridge gently before fitting so the toner inside is loose and level, remove every seal, and push it home until it clicks. The chip on each cartridge reports its level to the machine, so a correctly seated cartridge should register immediately. If prints from every color look washed out at once, that pattern points to the 013R00647 drum unit rather than to any single cartridge.
Frequently Asked Questions
What comes in the 5 Color Set for the WorkCentre 7435FL?
It bundles the 006R01395 black cartridge with the 006R01396 yellow, 006R01397 magenta and 006R01398 cyan cartridges — the complete toner list for this machine in one box.
How do I know whether it is the toner or the drum that needs changing?
A single faded color usually means that color cartridge is empty. Fading, streaks or spots that appear across every color at once point to the separate 013R00647 drum unit, which wears on its own timetable.
What toner does the Xerox WorkCentre 7435FL use?
The black cartridge is the 006R01395, rated for approximately 26,000 pages. Color comes from the 006R01396, 006R01397 and 006R01398 cartridges, stocked on this page in the 3 Color Set and the 5 Color Set.
Are compatible cartridges for this machine covered if something goes wrong?
Yes. The compatible cartridges on this page are sold with a 1-year warranty and 1-year returns, so a cartridge that fails early can be replaced or returned within that window.
