Frequently Asked Questions

Does "Premium Quality" buy my MC950 anything extra here?

Honestly, no — and we would rather lose the mystique than mislead you. This Premium Quality set costs $64.38, exactly the standard set's price, and carries the same ratings: black up to 3,500 pages, each color up to 3,000 pages. There is no higher tier hiding behind the label at this price; both listings deliver the same four cartridges for the same money.

Which part numbers are in the box?

The set is made up of black cartridge 44469801 and color cartridges 44469701, 44469702 and 44469703. If your MC950 is calling for any of those numbers, this one box answers all of them.

What is the effective price of each cartridge?

About $16.10 — $64.38 divided by the four cartridges, with no part of the price attributable to the word "Premium."

How should a busy office plan around the yields?

Watch them individually. The black's up-to-3,500-page rating is spent by everyday documents; the colors' up-to-3,000-page ratings are spent by color work and color copying. Reorder when the first rating approaches its end, not when some average says so — that is why we quote the figures per cartridge instead of blending them.

What cover applies once the cartridges are fitted?

A 1-year warranty per cartridge and free returns for a year, under the terms on our shipping and returns page. Our support team is reachable Monday to Friday, 9 AM–5 PM CST.

Prints from our MC950 look washed out — is it time for this set?

If one color has run low, washed-out output in that color is the classic sign, and a fresh cartridge settles it. Uniform fading across all colors with new cartridges fitted points elsewhere in the machine; start with the cartridge, because it is the cheapest variable to eliminate.
