Epson WF-4720 Ink — Compatible 802 & 802XL Ink Cartridges

WorkForce Pro WF-4720

The WorkForce Pro WF-4720 prints with the Epson 802 cartridge family — four individual DURABrite Ultra pigment cartridges. WF-4720 Ink — The 802 Shelf, Both Tiers Named

Epson's own setup documentation for the WF-4720 series lists the same cartridge table for every colour: 802 standard and 802XL high capacity. Our shelf follows the compatible ladder exactly — a standard-capacity black single (T802120, up to 900 pages), the four XL singles (T802XL120 black 2,600; T802XL220 cyan, T802XL320 magenta and T802XL420 yellow 1,900 each), a mixed Set of 5 whose two blacks are standard and whose colours are XL, and an all-XL Set of 4 — all DURABrite Ultra pigment ink. Standard colour singles are not sold as compatibles on this shelf; the colours come as XL singles or inside the sets, and we say so rather than relabelling anything.

The trap beside this model is its showroom twin: the WF-3720 looks like the same machine and takes 702 cartridges, which do not fit or register here. WF-4720 means 802 — check the badge before ordering.

Which 802 should you buy?

One cartridge at a time: standard black ($19.49) for light use; XL black ($25.49), cyan, magenta and yellow ($22.49 each) for volume.
Black-heavy reset: the Set of 5 ($73.43) pairs two standard blacks with one XL of each colour — read the mix before ordering.
Full reset: the all-XL Set of 4 ($79.44) replaces every position at XL yields.

Chip, ink and everyday use

Every cartridge carries a new compatible chip, so ink levels read normally; a one-time on-screen confirmation is the printer checking a non-Epson cartridge, not an error. If a firmware update ever precedes a recognition warning, reseat the flagged cartridge and restart first — and the lifetime warranty covers the cartridge either way. The ink is DURABrite Ultra pigment: sharp, dry and smudge-resistant on office paper. Free returns for the first year, on every product on this page.
