Magenta is the last piece of the 802 family's standard row. The compatible shelf for these printers long held a standard black beside XL-only colours; this standard-capacity compatible T802320-S magenta — DURABrite Ultra pigment, rated up to 650 pages (ISO/IEC 24711) — gives the WF-4720 and EC-4030 class of office a colour cartridge sized to ordinary colour use, not to a print room's.

With it, the standard row stands complete: black T802120 (up to 900 pages) and cyan T802220-S, this magenta and yellow T802420-S at up to 650 pages each. Nothing locks you in — this slot steps up alone to the T802XL320-S (up to 1,900 pages) the month colour volume says so, and standard and XL cartridges mix freely in between. Pigment ink keeps documents water-, smudge- and fade-resistant on plain paper, the DURABrite Ultra brief. A new compatible chip reports ink levels; read the firmware note in the questions below before fitting.
It fits all seven verified 802 printers — WF-4720, WF-4730, WF-4734, WF-4740, EC-4020, EC-4030 and EC-4040 — and no others: the WF-3720 and WF-3730 take 702 cartridges, a different family. Covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
What yield does the standard magenta carry?
Up to 650 pages (ISO/IEC 24711) — the standard colour rating for this family, shared with the standard cyan and yellow. Warm, saturated pages spend it faster than the test pattern.
Is this the standard or XL magenta?
Standard. The XL magenta (T802XL320) reaches up to 1,900 pages and shares the same slot; choose by volume — steady light colour suits this one, heavy colour suits the XL.
Why does this standard colour exist now, when the shelf was XL-only?
Because the ladder grew: the standard black (T802120) previously sat beside XL colours only. The standard cyan, magenta and yellow now complete the tier Epson itself sells for this family, so lighter users can buy the size their printing actually is.
Which printers take it?
WF-4720, WF-4730, WF-4734, WF-4740, EC-4020, EC-4030 and EC-4040 — the full 802 list. Not the WF-3720 or WF-3730; those belong to the 702 family.
Reds are printing orange. Is magenta at fault?
It is the first suspect: red is magenta plus yellow, so a fading magenta drags red toward orange. Run a nozzle check — a broken magenta pattern settles it before you replace anything.
Does it carry a chip?
Yes — a new compatible chip for ink-level reporting, so the printer's gauges track it like a genuine cartridge.
What happens if a firmware update makes the printer question it?
The honest background: this cartridge carries a new compatible chip, and if your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur, since the firmware is written for Epson cartridges. Power off, reseat the cartridge until it clicks, power on. If the message survives that, contact us — the lifetime warranty is behind it.
What ink is inside?
DURABrite Ultra pigment, specified for all four 802 colours — pigment is what makes this family's documents resist water, smudging and fading.
Can I mix it with the XL colours and standard black?
Any combination works: slots are independent. A full standard row, or this magenta as the lone standard among XL partners, are both normal.
How much ink is in it, in millilitres?
We do not publish a figure: no verified millilitre volume for this family could be confirmed from official sources, so that field is left blank. The 650-page ISO yield is the figure to compare.
Is it a genuine Epson cartridge?
No — a Clever Supplies compatible built to the T802320-S specification and labelled compatible on the box and this page. Epson does not manufacture it.
What does the lifetime warranty cover?
A cartridge that fails to perform — not recognised after troubleshooting, leaking, or printing poorly from new — is replaced under the lifetime warranty, with free returns within the first year.
