Frequently Asked Questions
We print lightly on our C2670FW — how long will one of these sets last us?
Quite possibly a year or more. The set's four cartridges — CLT-K505L, CLT-C505L, CLT-M505L and CLT-Y505L — are rated at 16,500 pages in combination, and at a light weekly pace that capacity simply takes a long time to spend. There is no clock working against you: toner is a dry powder, so a cartridge does not dry out while it waits.
What exactly does this set include?
One cartridge per colour, named by code in the title: the CLT-K505L black, rated at 6,000 pages, plus the CLT-C505L cyan, CLT-M505L magenta and CLT-Y505L yellow, each rated at 3,500 pages. The set is priced at $131.86.
Should unopened cartridges be stored anywhere special?
Just somewhere sensible: sealed in their boxes, flat, away from radiators and direct sunlight. Stored that way, the cartridges you are not fitting yet keep indefinitely for practical purposes — buy the set, fit what the machine asks for, and shelve the rest.
When the time comes, do all four get replaced together?
No — each cartridge is changed on its own schedule, when the C2670FW reports it low. In a light-use home or small office the colours in particular can sit at different levels for months; replace individually and a set works through gradually.
What cover do the cartridges carry?
A 1-year warranty on every cartridge, with returns free of charge during the first year. The terms are laid out on our shipping & returns page.
Where will the order ship from, and when can I call with a question?
Dispatch is from our IL, PA, GA or CA warehouses, whichever best serves your address. Support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
