Frequently Asked Questions

I order by cartridge code, not printer model — what do the four codes in this set's name stand for?

They are the four cartridges of the CLT-505L family, one per colour slot. K is the black (CLT-K505L), C the cyan (CLT-C505L), M the magenta (CLT-M505L) and Y the yellow (CLT-Y505L). If the cartridge you are replacing carries any of those codes, this set is its family — the toner line used by the ProXpress C2620 and C2670 series.

What page rating does each code carry?

The K505L black is rated at 6,000 pages. Each colour — C505L, M505L and Y505L — is rated at 3,500 pages. Bought as this set, the four ratings combine to 16,500 pages.

What is the set's price per cartridge?

The set is $131.86 for four cartridges, which works out at roughly $32.97 each — the same whether you think of it as a shelf restock or a full machine refresh.

Can the cartridges be fitted one at a time?

Yes. They are four independent sealed units. Replace whichever colour the printer reports as empty, and store the rest; nothing about the set requires all four to be installed together.

What warranty and returns apply to this set?

Each cartridge is a Clever Supplies compatible unit with a 1-year warranty, and returns are free during the first year. The full terms are set out on our shipping & returns page.

Where do orders ship from, and when is support available?

Warehouses in IL, PA, GA and CA handle dispatch. Support answers Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST if you want to talk a code through before ordering.
