Frequently Asked Questions

What comes in this three-colour set — and what doesn't?

Three cartridges: one CLT-C505L cyan, one CLT-M505L magenta and one CLT-Y505L yellow. That is the complete colour side of the printer in one box — and only the colour side. There is no black cartridge included; the CLT-K505L black is sold separately, which makes this set the natural order when your documents still print crisply but the colours have gone flat.

When is a colour-only set the smarter buy than a full set?

When the black cartridge has plenty of life left. Text toner and colour toner empty on different schedules, and replacing a healthy black unit just because it shares a box wastes money. If the printer's complaint is washed-out charts and dull photographs rather than faint text, refreshing the CLT-C505L, CLT-M505L and CLT-Y505L together addresses exactly the problem in front of you.

How many pages will each colour cartridge print?

Each of the three is rated at 3,500 pages at the standard 5% coverage — 10,500 rated colour pages across the set. Coverage is the swing factor: a page carrying a large photograph or a solid background can use several times the toner of a mostly-text page, so graphics-heavy offices will land below the rating while document-heavy ones come close to it.

What does each cartridge in the set cost?

The set is $105.21, so each of the three cartridges works out at $35.07. One box, one delivery and one planned colour swap replaces three separate orders landing on three different days.

Which printers does this set belong to?

Two Samsung colour machines built around the CLT-505L family: the Xpress C2620DW printer and the ProXpress C2670FW multifunction model. If the cartridges already in your machine read CLT-C505L, CLT-M505L or CLT-Y505L, this is the colour set that matches them.

What backing do we have after the set arrives?

The cartridges are covered for twelve months, and returns are free throughout that first year — the details and the return steps sit on our shipping & returns page. Orders ship from warehouses in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Georgia and California, with support available Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.

About This Samsung CLT-505L 3 Colour Toner Set

A focused colour renewal for the Xpress C2620DW and ProXpress C2670FW: the CLT-C505L, CLT-M505L and CLT-Y505L cartridges, 3,500 rated pages apiece, in one $105.21 box. It is the set for the moment colours fade while black still prints strong — a matched trio restores the balance in a single change, and the black cartridge stays on its own separate schedule.
