Read the code carefully, because this family names its tiers backwards from what most shoppers expect: this T099220 cyan is the standard-capacity cartridge. Our compatible T099220 is rated up to 500 pages on Epson's published rating and forms, with its four T099 colour siblings, the standard colour tier of the six-colour Claria Hi-Definition system in the Artisan printers.
It carries a new compatible Intellidge-type chip. The honest note: this cartridge carries a new compatible chip. if your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur — on these discontinued printers the practical point is chip quality, and the lifetime warranty is our answer to it. The set it belongs to: black is always the high-capacity T098120 (there is no T099 black); the other colours are T099320-S magenta, T099420 yellow, T099520-S light cyan and T099620 light magenta.
Fits all eight verified US Artisan models — Artisan 700, 710, 725, 730, 800, 810, 835 and 837. No US Artisan 720 exists in Epson's records, so it appears nowhere on this page. Covered by our lifetime warranty, with free returns for the first year.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is T099 the high-capacity tier?
No — standard capacity. Epson's support pages label T098 'High Capacity' and define T099 as the standard tier (its syndicated data calls T099 codes 'Standard Capacity' outright). The naming trips up many sellers; the codes on this page follow Epson.
How many pages?
Up to 500 pages on the manufacturer's published rating. We state it without an ISO label, because the official sources behind this family publish the figure without naming a test standard — we don't add one.
Which printers does it fit?
The cyan slot of the Artisan 700, 710, 725, 730, 800, 810, 835 and 837 — the eight US models Epson verifies for this code set.
What black goes with it?
The T098120 — the family's only black, high-capacity, also rated up to 500 pages. There is no T099 black cartridge.
Chip — what should I know?
A new compatible Intellidge-type chip is fitted. This cartridge carries a new compatible chip. If your printer's firmware has been updated, recognition issues can occasionally occur. A reseat and restart clears most false warnings.
My blues look green or purple. Is cyan low?
Either shift points at cyan: green-leaning blues mean magenta is dominating, purple-leaning blues mean cyan can't keep up. Check the cyan level first; a nozzle check after replacement confirms the balance.
Is there a high-capacity cyan?
Epson defines one — T098220 — but compatible T098 colour singles are not on the LD ladder we price from, so we don't sell one yet. It's logged as an open item; this standard T099220 is the stocked cyan.
What do the light colours do?
Light cyan (T099520-S) and light magenta (T099620) fill the subtle gradients — skies, skin tones — where full-strength colours would grain. Your Artisan has six slots for a reason; this page's cyan is the full-strength one.
Is this genuine Epson?
No. Clever Supplies compatible, built to the T099220 specification, labelled compatible on the box and this page.
Can I replace just cyan?
Yes — individual cartridges, individual slots. Replace the colour that's low; sets are for full refreshes and spares.
Storage for a spare?
Sealed, upright, room temperature, out of sunlight. (A formal shelf-life figure awaits supplier confirmation — see Specifications.)
Warranty?
Lifetime warranty on the cartridge; free returns within the first year.
